For Gerry, who is gravely ill with COVID and does not know the Lord. Jesus, let him come to know You before he dies. Grant him a holy death.

For the Repose of the soul of Nancy Culver. In thanksgiving for her many years of faithful service to the Newman Community as parish secretary. We ask you Lord to comfort her family and friends at this difficult time. Eternal rest grant onto Nancy, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. O Lord,
Be so close beside this dear one. Come whisper words of great hope into her heart. Shut out the pain, the worry and fear and wrap her up within your soft, gentle love. Bless the efforts of the surgeons who will work to bring healing to her body. Please protect and keep her in your care. May she know your presence close by each day. Bless her parents and family and give them strength through this difficult time. Amen. Dear Lord, I truly believe that my marriage was created by you in heaven. You chose for me someone who you believed will add purpose to my life. Even still, my husband and I are in great need of your aid. We are both struggling to understand marriage and how you view it. We are struggling to communicate and understand each other. Please help us communicate through you. Please act as our bridge and connect us together through you. Help us speak words of wisdom and love to each other as you would to us. We both love you and adore you, so please stand by us. Help us to value each other and forgo temptation that can destroy us. We might be a couple, but this relationship needs you. Only you can restore us. Please help us act with love and kindness each day. Thank you for all you do for us daily. I love you so much. Love, Joanne
King of glory, save me by your might and answer me when I call. You are merciful, kind, and compassionate. Lead me away from addiction and help me to walk in your ways. Strengthen me when the temptation is strong and protect me when I am helpless. In Jesus’ name, I believe and pray. Amen.
Lord, I thank you for these fantastic caregivers that are working round-the-clock to ensure our baby is safe and healthy. Thank you for the technology that you have granted us to help secure the lives of babies that are born prematurely. I also want to thank you for giving us the strength to fight in faith and not out of fear. Lord, even with the caregivers doing exceptional work, we know it is your mighty hand that will help our baby to mature and be healthy. Uphold our baby with your righteous right hand and fight on our behalf. Let what the enemy intended for bad be our testimony and let your name be glorified through this child. In Jesus’ name, we believe and pray, Amen.
