You should have 1-3 readers for your wedding liturgy. One will read the Old Testament, one will read the New Testament and will be assigned for the prayers of the faithful (intercessions). If it is a Mass, these readers should be Catholic. If there is not a Full Mass, then the readers do not have to be Catholic but they must be Christian.
You will also choose a Gospel reading which will be read by the officiant. If you are having a Nuptial Mass, you will need to choose 2 or 3 people to take the gifts to the altar. These individuals must also be Catholic.
Below are some choices for readings. Once your have made your selection, you can click on the print button to open a new page for printing. If there is another reading you would like to be considered, please ask.
