You should have 1-3 readers for your wedding liturgy. One will read the Old Testament, one will read the New Testament and will be assigned for the prayers of the faithful (intercessions). You will also choose a Gospel reading which will be read by the officiant. If you are having a Nuptial Mass, you will need to choose 2 or 3 people to take the gifts to the altar. These individuals must also be Catholic.
