Liturgy

Sacristan- Liturgy Assistant

​The sacristan plays a vital role in the liturgy by setting up for Mass and other rites. Sacristans should be available a half-hour before the start of Mass to prepare the bread, wine, and vessels for the Liturgy.

Lector

Proclaiming the living Word of God to the assembly is the primary role of the Lector. People with a love of Scripture and public speaking or story telling ability are encouraged to consider serving in this capacity.

Usher

The Usher ministry welcomes the members of the assembly and assists in the practical needs of helping people find seats, gathering the collection, and offering other hospitable assistance.

Altar Server

Young men from 3rd grade and up, minister to assist the presider at Mass as Altar Servers.

Newman Choir

​ Open to all Parishioners for certain
​celebrations during the year. 

Cantors

Open to college students and adults for
​the weekend Masses.

Instrumentalists

 Open to high school students, college students and adults. 
​Christmas, Easter, Weddings and Funerals are when you are most needed.
