Time is drawing near that our students will be returning to campus, and that means it's also time to register your young ones for Faith Formation!
WHO: children ages 5 up to 8th grade for Faith Formation, children ages 3-4 for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (*classroom size is limited) WHERE: we gather downstairs in the Knox Room at 9:05a to begin WHEN: Sundays from 9:10-10:15a, opening class is Sept 17th! Registration is now available online, and we strongly encourage you to enroll your child(ren) promptly. (This will help to avoid waiting on materials that need to be ordered last minute!) |
For 2023-24, our curriculum (for non sacramental prep) is titled “Gospel Weeklies.”
It focuses on the gospel reading from Mass for that week. In a beautiful way it connects the Catechism, to the Gospel and to our everyday faith lives! It is a wonderful tool for our children to learn the richness of our Catholic faith. Sacraments! Do you have a 2nd grader who is preparing for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion? Do you have a 7th or 8th grader needing Confirmation? This is the year for it!! For our 2nd graders we have the newly released “Renewed & Received” curriculum created by Ascension Press. For those preparing for Confirmation, “Decision Point” published by Dynamic Catholic. Do you have a child that is out of Sacramental sequence, please let me know and I can help facilitate their preparation. |

For the ADULTS:
After last year's success we are once again offering ADULT FORMATION to be held in the Knox Room during the same time. Newman’s FOCUS missionaries will lead us through a bible study each semester. This invitation is open to everyone! You do not have to have a child enrolled in Faith Formation to attend. And no pre-registration is needed. Also, your lap babies and toddlers are welcome. P.S. We have coffee & hot tea! |
