O Lord,
Be so close beside this dear one. Come whisper words of great hope into her heart. Shut out the pain, the worry and fear and wrap her up within your soft, gentle love. Bless the efforts of the surgeons who will work to bring healing to her body. Please protect and keep her in your care. May she know your presence close by each day. Bless her parents and family and give them strength through this difficult time. Amen.

Dear Lord, I truly believe that my marriage was created by you in heaven. You chose for me someone who you believed will add purpose to my life. Even still, my husband and I are in great need of your aid. We are both struggling to understand marriage and how you view it. We are struggling to communicate and understand each other. Please help us communicate through you. Please act as our bridge and connect us together through you. Help us speak words of wisdom and love to each other as you would to us. We both love you and adore you, so please stand by us. Help us to value each other and forgo temptation that can destroy us. We might be a couple, but this relationship needs you.
