Monday, March 19th at 7 pm – Catholic Hot Topics – Married Couple Panel
Marriage is so much more than fun and romance– we are called to be sanctified through the Sacrament of Matrimony! But how does this happen?? Come talk to some happily married Catholic couples who have found peace and holiness in their marriages. We’ll talk about how dating works, what marriage prep really is, and how we can display the Lord’s love through this beautiful sacrament! All are welcome, and bring a friend! Light refreshments will be served.
Tuesday, March 20th at 8:30 pm – Rosary
Do you need some inner-peace? The rosary is a powerful tool to find inner-peace in today’s noisy, busy world. Prayer is powerful! In the rosary we ponder the life of Jesus through the eyes of his mother.
Wednesday, March 21st from 11 am to 9 pm – Be Reconciled Day of Confession
Our priests will be available in the confessional in Church all day! No matter how long it’s been, God invites each one of us to experience his healing love & mercy!
Wednesday, March 21st at 8 pm – Spirit & Life
Join us every Wednesday Night as we worship the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament through prayer, song and sacred silence. Followed by 9 pm Mass and pizza & fellowship after. All are welcome.
Thursday, March 22nd at 7:30 pm – Father’s Reflections from the Holy Land
Sunday, March 25th at 9 pm – Palm Sunday Mass with the Bishop
Friday, March 30th at 8 pm – Living Stations of the Cross
A prayerful presentation for the entire parish. Come help present or come watch pray. There are many roles to fill! Needed are readers/narrators, actors, singers & behind the scenes! Our rehearsal will begin at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 30 until the presentation at 8 pm. If you are able to help, we will provide cheese pizza for dinner. Please wear dark clothing and meet in the Hoffman Room at 3pm!Spread the word! All are welcome! Invite your friends & family! Faranda’s – 302 Grove St, Downtown DeKalb. All college students looking for an excuse to GET DRESSED UP & DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY are invited to the Newman Formal! Please bring your friends. A date is NOT required. This is a ticketed event. Ticket price includes dinner and dancing. Tickets: Early bird $20.00, Regular $25.00 Last day to purchase: April 6.
