The Spirituality of Mental Health

College Hot Topics – 7:00pm Monday, November 12 in the Hoffman Room
Join us for a special college hot topics on the spirituality of mental health!
Counselor Rachel Johnson, LCPC/ATR, of Catholic Charities will be teaming up with Father David Beauvais to discuss raising mental health awareness, and Holistic Spirituality, the belief that the spiritual sense of our mental health is of the utmost importance. Resources for mental health care will also be discussed! Please invite your friends, this is sure to be a very educational and moving evening! Treats will of course be served. See you there!

Rosary
Do you need some inner-peace? The rosary is a powerful tool to find inner-peace in today’s noisy, busy world. Prayer is powerful!  In the rosary we ponder the life of Jesus through the eyes of his mother.  All are invited to pray the Rosary every Tuesday during the semester at 8:30pm in the Chapel.

Wednesday Night Free Dinner!!!

All college students are invited to join us for a free, delicious Dinner provided by Portillo’s at 7pm on Wednesday, November 14th downstairs in the Knox Community Room!  We have a limited amount of food, so first come first served!
All are invited to stay for Spirit & Life after at 8pm!  We will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Scripture readings, praise & worship music and quiet prayer and reflection.  Confession is available at 8:30pm. The evening concludes with 9pm Mass.  Join us & bring a friend!

Hope Haven Meal Making

Looking for something fun to do?  Like to help those in need?  Join other college students as we make a meal for Hope Haven Homeless Shelter! All college students are invited to join us in the Newman Kitchen on Thursday, November 15 beginning at 4:30pm.
The basic schedule is as follows:
4:30pm- Meet in Newman Kitchen to prepare/cook meal
6:30- Transport meal (by carpool) to Hope Haven
6:45- 8:00- Serve the meal, possibly eat with residents and help clean up
Come for all or part.  No experience is necessary.
Just come with a willing heart and a servant’s spirit!


Kollege Karaoke Night
7pm Friday, November 16 in the Newman Library
Sing along with your favorite songs, enjoy some appetizers, hang out, have fun, laugh and destress before the holidays. All college students welcome!

Spring Break Service Trips
What are you doing for Spring Break? Want to make a difference & change lives? Join us for a Newman Spring Break Service Trip to West Virginia or Tennessee!
