Catholic (RCIA) -
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is the process by which adults are welcomed into
full communion with the
Catholic Church. It is for those who would like to be Baptized or receive Communion in the Church. Opportunities are available for students and parishioners to sponsor those being initiated. For more information,

Confirmation -
Closely related to the RCIA program is the
Adult Confirmation Program, which prepares
adult Catholics who were not confirmed in
high school to receive the sacrament of
Confirmation.

+Religious Education/Sacramental Preparation -
The religious education program at Newman is for students in kindergarten through high school.
Classes meet on Sundays during the school year. Catechists and other program volunteers are always welcome.

+Taize Prayer -
Newman's ecumenical Taize Prayer Service combines Scripture, meditative singing, and silence into a prayer hour for peace. Taize is held on the third Friday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Click here for the 2007-2008 schedule. Interested musicians and readers can contact Terry Colopy.
+Sacred Heart Litany -
The Litany of the Sacred Heart is recited after the 12:05 Mass on the first Friday of each month.
