Involvement: I was a Peer Minister. I also served as President of the Newman Community Council: I also enjoyed working on Newman Now.
Comments: Fr. Steve Knox is the reason why I became a part of the Newman Center, of course back then he was just Steve Knox. Newman is very lucky to have him as a pastor. I still feel that the Newman Community is part of who I am. I am lucky to say that I still have really good friends who I met because of my involvement at Newman.

Involvement: I was involved in music ministry as a music coordinator. I also served on liturgy planning and on the Community Council.
Comments: I gained a lot of confidence in myself during those years because of the leadership roles I was encouraged to try. Newman holds a very special place in my heart, especially because my husband and I met there, we were married there and our first child was baptized there!

Comments: My wife and I live in Rockford with our two children John and Colleen (named after Colleen Puscas). I teach high school at Belvidere High School.
